At Mosaic, our mission is to help the world grow the food it needs, and we know that it begins right here at home. By contributing to meaningful initiatives and programs, we can make a positive impact on our local communities and around the world. Our Goals for Food program, in partnership with the Tampa Bay Lightning, demonstrates this commitment and helps those most vulnerable to food insecurity.

During each regular season, Mosaic donates $500 for every goal scored at home by the Lightning and $5,000 for every hat trick to 14 regional food partners in the Tampa Bay area. This year, our total donation was $70,000 – with each dollar equating to ten meals to fight hunger and food insecurity. Over the last nine years, Mosaic has donated over 8.5 million meals to our local communities, providing hunger relief to those most vulnerable in Tampa Bay and surrounding communities.

In conjunction with the Goals for Food program, Mosaic and The Tampa Bay Lightning teamed up with Feeding Tampa Bay to collect 826 pounds of food and $778 in monetary donations at a pre-game food drive prior to the Lightning’s game versus the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday, April 21st at Amalie Arena.

Bruce Bodine, Senior VP – North America, reflects on Mosaic’s nine-year partnership with the Lightning:

“Mosaic is incredibly proud of our longstanding partnership with The Tampa Bay Lightning, and we look forward to many more years of ensuring that everyone in Tampa Bay has the food they need.”
