One way Mosaic and our employees supported storm relief efforts in some of our hardest hit operating areas following Hurricane Ian was through a Mosaic Cares Day event. Watch this video to see our employees in action.

Ahead of this year’s hurricane season, Mosaic provided $65,000 in storm relief funds to six community partners near our Florida and Louisiana operation sites: United Way Central Florida, Manatee Community Foundation, Hardee Help Center, Community Foundation of Tampa Bay, DeSoto County Chamber Foundation, Capital Area United Way. Providing this support in advance enables these organizations to use the funds to help ensure they are prepared and ready to provide immediate relief and recovery support in the event of a storm.

“Just as we’re doing at Mosaic and with our own families – early preparation is key for these community partners,” said Chris Johnson, Sr. Social Responsibility Specialist. “We work with local organizations every year before hurricane season to provide support and identify opportunities to assist following a storm as well. Supporting the communities our employees call home – especially in times of need – is a cornerstone of how we do business.”
