First it was wheelbarrows, picks and shovels in the late 1800s. Next came mule-drawn scrapers and steam shovels. These days, we use draglines and dredges to mine phosphate … and our transformation continues. Building on the expertise of our people, we’re using “next generation” technology to find new, innovative ways to manage risk, minimize our impacts and maximize the value we deliver to our customers, team, investors and others who count on us to safely, responsibly and competitively produce crop nutrients that help the world grow the food it needs.

“NextGEN” is the label we are using for that technology, and we’re already seeing how it can transform our business. A new technology-enabled Integrated Operation Center opened at our FishHawk office earlier this year that will serve as “mission control” for our Florida mining operations – empowering our employees to make data-driven, real-time decisions and providing a safer work environment for our operators. We’re making impressive NextGEN progress in other areas of the business as well.

The new technology-enabled Integrated Operations Center at our FishHawk office will serve as “mission control” for our Florida mining operations.

Most importantly, we’re investing in our team. We believe in growing our business by growing our people – investing in new opportunities to build the expertise of our team and recruiting talent to ensure we have a workforce with the skills we need to succeed.

Our journey continues, and we are cultivating a culture that supports change and embodies the innovative, results-driven energy of our collaborative workforce. Together, we are shaping the future of our business.
